The Claude build specification is at encrier.com/spec.html

encrier
The inkwell for your AI conversations. One URL saves your entire Claude chat as a portable file.
encrier.com type this in any Claude chat

How it works

Three steps. No install.

1
Chat with Claude

Strategy, code, writing, research — whatever you're working on.

2
Type encrier.com

Claude reads this page, gets the instructions, and builds your save file.

3
Download the HTML file

Open it in any browser to read the conversation, or upload it to a future Claude chat to pick up where you left off.

Your conversation becomes a portable save state — a checkpoint you can fork, share with teammates, or load six months later with full context.

Use cases

What you can do with a save state

Continue later

Upload the HTML to a new Claude chat and say "read this and pick up where we left off."

Share with anyone

Email the file to a colleague. They upload it to their own Claude session and have full context instantly.

Fork into branches

Upload the same save state to multiple chats, each exploring a different direction.

Version your thinking

Save at the end of each session. Build a chain of checkpoints you can go back to anytime.

Tips

Getting the most out of encrier

File creation must be enabled in your Claude chat for this to work. If Claude says it can't create files, check your settings.
For the most reliable trigger, type read encrier.com rather than just the bare URL. The word "read" ensures Claude fetches the page.
Best used as your last message in a session. The save state generation takes up context space, so treat it as a closing step.
Name your files with versions: project-v1-pricing.html, project-v2-corporate.html, etc.
Uploading back to Claude works best if you rename the file to .txt before uploading, as some upload pipelines handle HTML files inconsistently.
